I have noticed it flying off the shelves online so you must! :) There is probably a bit left out there if you look hard enough. Took me some time to find the perfect project for it. I wanted something I'd hold onto for a while and display in my home since the colors matched so well. If you have family that are musically inclined and need some paper that doesn't pigeonhole you into only using Red/Black/White color combos, check this one out.

I enjoy turning trash to treasure and this project was certainly a good one! My neighbor called me and said she had some things she wanted to get rid of, to come take a look. I found a couple things for our beachy/mermaid bathroom and in the pile of stuff was a (broken) Jim Shore resin sailboat that (I hope I don't offend anyone, LOL) was quite hideous. Really the sail was the most awful green for this sculpture. This photo doesn't even do it justice. It was VIBRANT, but it had "good bones". It sat on my kitchen table for a good week. I almost tossed it twice before this idea came to me. ;)

I'm sure you see where this is going! I decided to cover it with paper! and what fun it was molding and sculpting the boat and sails into a whimsy of life on the high seas.

So glad I didn't toss it because this is probably one of my favorite projects recently. You are probably wondering what music had to do with sailboats right?? Well I think it is safe to say I was thinking out of the box with this one. (recycled paper mache xmas gift box to be exact.) None the less it works great and the quote ties it all together. The quote from the journal card sheet was cut with a spellbinder's die and safety pinned to the sail over the word "listen". I layered and pop dotted the same word from the sticker sheet onto it.

If you haven't had time to check out the Echo Park line Yours Truly, let me give you a little peek into the paper collection that was voted Number 1 by all of YOU!

There is sooo much more in this collection than just Valentine's Day themes though. Don't for one second think you will use it for just that alone! If you don't believe me just check out all the themes in this newsprint paper. ;) Go ahead, I'll wait....

Lots to chose from that is still lovely but not totally Valentine's Day related either huh? I went the obvious route of course but if you follow the blog links at the bottom of this post you will be in for some surprises as far as the variety of themes others have used theirs for. Christmas? yup!

I have been thinking about creating one of these for a while. I saw something similar online ages ago. Of course it was before Pinterest so it's only saved in my head. LOL The Center of the rosette is made using an old photograph I found *JUST* for this purpose while shopping at a local thrift store with a friend. It is a very old (1873?) photo of a child dressed as a Cupid holding a bow. I thought it was just perfect. I'll be sharing that image in a moment! It is layered under a vintage glass clock face cover so it is convex and gives a little space for some embellishments under it. perfect right?

The rosette is made up of many layers attached from the back side and built up between layers of chipboard. this is a perfect use for cereal boxes as the print will not show. just make sure you cut it about 1/2" shy of the edge of your previous layer. Working from smallest to largest.

How cute are these little XOXO banners?

Sure those carts and towers of drawers are handy but they don't look very nice. Since my room is essentially open to the entire upper level of my house (and even seen by some of the lower level) I have been looking for "prettier" storage. which led to a need for a set of card catalog drawers or an apothecary of some sort. Only without the steep price tag.

I came across many great mail cubbies like this

...and realized they were essentially the same as a shoe organizer like this ClosetMaid 25 cube cabinet

but I wasn't loving the idea of all the "mess" showing, and this made me think hmmm maybe I can make my own drawers! This drawer (below) reminded me of the old berry flats with the pine ends and cardboard sides/bottom. And right there an idea was born. :)

I started with two 25 space shoe organizers from Lowe's. these are not cheap so if you can find 1-2 used cabinet bases you could save a good chunk of money (Like $100!). two of them stacked without legs are about 5'4" tall. I had plans to add feet and a cown moulding piece to the top which would look GREAT, but I'm short LOL! Adding another 6-8" would mean the top drawers would not be as accessible so I went without feet/topper.

Here's what I ended up making and how:

I started with assembling the cabinets above and measuring the cubbies for my drawer size. then began creating the drawers. each drawer needed a 1/2" thick plywood front and back cut slightly smaller than the cubbie openings and just deep as the cabinet itself you want to take into account the thickness of the cardboard you use to create the sides and bottom of the drawers when calculating the width and height of the plywood pieces. (* you'll see what I mean later)

I was lucky to have a Dad that would help me cutting all 100 fronts/backs using his table saw. ;) if you don't have a super handy Dad (or Husband! Mine got out of all the work because he was deployed and I couldn't wait any longer. :) ) Home Depot will rip plywood into board feet for you. (they just need to know the width you want.) then all you will need to do is cut to length with a chop saw. when we were done Dad drilled all the holes on the drawer fronts for the knobs, while I sanded the edges as needed. this only took us a couple hours believe it or not! I even used up some of the scrap plywood we had taking up space in the garage so I saved a bit of money there.

while we were at it I had him cut me a template out of some salvaged acrylic. I used this for cutting the cardboard to the perfect size. Just like a quilting template I cut around the outside of the template to get a plum cut which made perfect drawer "bellies".
using the template as a straight edge I creased the bottom corners of the drawer so they would wrap around the drawer fronts/backs forming the sides and bottoms of the drawers like a "U". I stapled in place with a heavy duty staple gun and 5/16" Light Duty Staples.

*a friend recently told me she and her DH used a table saw to cut down stacks of cardboard and the edges were "ok". might be an option if you want to try because I won't lie. cutting 50 sheets of cardboard took me a few nights to get through. I longed for the days of working in a picture framing gallery and having a wall mounted cutting system!

Before adding the sides you can decorate the drawer fronts by decoupaging scrapbook paper, wallpaper or old salvaged paper to them. I painted the fronts of mine white but later realized it might not have even made a difference. Your drawerwill look like this when you wrap the cardboard piece around the belly and sides of the drawer.

*the overall exterior size of the drawers is 11.5" deep (long) X 5 3/4" tall X 4 3/8" wide.

In my case I had a ton of used priority mail boxes from post CHA shopping this fall and a reorganization of my scraproom (I had kits stored in them). these boxes have very thin but strong construction and are the perfect material as they barely show when the drawers are closed. You can get two drawers worth of cardboard out of one box if you are careful to peel it apart at the side seams to open it up instead of cutting it open.

For the knobs I purchased plain wood knobs from an online bulk sales company and painted them white. once dry I stamped with black archival ink using various stamps I had on hand.

The label plate is a Tim Holtz Die cut from heavy chipboard and black cardstock layered on top. I used watercolor paper for the label backing so pencil marks would erase easily if I wanted to put something new in a drawer. I attached them with my ATG. The brads on each end of the bookplate are purely decorative as is the enameled number plates on some of the drawers.

The drawers hold a lot of supplies. that lower right drawer has a full sized glue gun, two minis, a container of two bags of bulk large glue sticks and a few more colored sticks on top there. Since the cubbies are big enough to hold shoes you get twice as much room in here than a Library card catalog would allow. That's a HUGE bonus for me and was worth the effort to make this on my own over buying.

And then after I was all through making the cabinet, the idea came full circle when I found this on etsy (or ebay?). I realized someone else had used this same idea using tin formed around two pieces of lumber a long long time ago. LOL
One of these cabinets would look great with all sorts of salvaged knobs and pulls like this hardware drawer had on it.
What else was I going to do at that time on a Sunday morning? LOL I tried checking for the paper but it had not even been delivered yet.

I put these together using the following dies:

Sizzix Originals Die Set - Large Tags, Scallop Combo #2

Sizzix Movers & Shapers Die - Carved Ornaments #2

Spellbinders Shapeabilities Dies, Ribbon Banners.

The "Happy Holidays" stamp was from the very old Making Memories magnetic stamps. ;) Yup I still use mine from time to time. they have wonderful tiny little images and words.

And my good old Krylon 18kt gold leafing pen! this is perfect for this die because it cuts out the toppers and the ornament from the same sheet. I just color it with gold or silver Krylon pen and I'm all set to glue it together.

The best part about these tags is that they can be used TWICE (or more!) the small tag can be written on this year and ripped off while you are cleaning up the piles of wrapping paper. That person who is always saving the bows from gifts will get an extra treat this year. ;) Whether that is you or your Holiday hostess! Just remove that small white tag and write on the back of the ornament next year.Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-22815830595854088812011-12-11T00:37:00.000-08:002011-12-11T00:42:33.364-08:00Tim Tags Day 9<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pstjNYheohA/TuRsspXR5EI/AAAAAAAACkQ/p0FHMRHs8T0/s400/6a00e39827d9ad88330153943bf180970b-800wi.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684788143921947714" />
I'm skipping a day and will come back to this at the end. ;) Just wanted to mark my spot in order and let you know you I will be doing it later. First I really wanted to use this stamp I bought from Hero Arts called Musical Collage. I just love the background and the bird on it so much. it needed a tag! at that point I was still planning to stick to Tim's colors and techniques overall. except when I made my packing tape transfer of the Santa to go behind the fragment it came out very faded. not sure if I rubbed too much paper off (it was burnished on very well ahead of time so that wasn't it.) or if it could have just been the tape I was using. I've done these a dozen times before and gotten similar results though. To be honest my paper stack to begin with was not as *vibrant* as Tim's stack of papers were either. so maybe a printing issue? or a photoshop issue? I'm not sure. but you can see my Santa had more of a faded merury glass sort of feel to it.

Plan B...I fell in love with this tag I pinned on Pinterest the other day. beautiful palette of colors and embellishment choices. I have been itching to do more shabby chic style tags (I WILL get to them before xmas, hopefully lol) and just decided to go with it. faded Santa and all!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4b2_zumfEco/TuRrlR7yjRI/AAAAAAAACjo/9U-483vA60s/s400/blog-10b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684786917861920018" />

I inked the background using Distress inks Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Shabby Shutters. Layered on the cut out dimmensional bird from the background using foam tape for dimension over the twig of mini Balsam fir (another miniatures craft Dept item), and covered everything with a bit of sparkle. I love this font and hoard those little things. I have a couple other sheets of colors and fonts but that pink one is by far my favorite. aaaannnnd... I was wanting to replicate the dark snowy backdrop from most of the movie. Inside the pocket watch case is a watchface set to midnight (when Santa leaves the North Pole) and a silver globe (earth) as well as a snowflake. There is even a tiny little brass tag with the word "express" stamped in it. (a vintage find I have had since 2001!) The vintage "admit one" tag is sprayed with gold shimmer to replicate the gold ticket for the Polar Express.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 377px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-okMiM6Qcep0/TuHbOcLNrAI/AAAAAAAACiY/6k1VS9EIZ_s/s400/blog-8a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684065245846154242" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LUcmd9WFWDc/TuHbN0-FYYI/AAAAAAAACiM/SH6YgIIcdsw/s400/blog-8b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684065235322102146" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-81298411104847159862011-12-09T01:39:00.000-08:002011-12-09T01:46:44.155-08:00Tim Tags Day 7a little behind here. I was really skeptical of the paint technique going with my style. I decided to revisit the Day 10 tag from 2 years ago, using alcohol inks over the foil base. I loved this tag but it kind of sticks out from all the previous years. I had been wanting to do some more mercury glass looking tags for my collection and thought this was a perfect time.

Here's my tag from 2009

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u5-404aM2tg/Tt7yf6M9ACI/AAAAAAAACfY/GqNx_EWxmVs/s200/IMG_0415.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683246409801596962" />

...and this year's tag

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q4PltU9X28E/Tt7xQoDcUSI/AAAAAAAACfM/AAHT8F9R1yY/s400/005.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683245047720202530" />

I'm going to show you how I created this look using one of my scraps of foil. Like I said yesterday this is a good way to test things. I had planned on using alcohol inks and then painting over it and doing a wipe away with pearl white paint. However, when I tried it the alcohol ink came off completely too. oops! and I was glad I took my own advice and tested that first on a scrap! I used the new Martha Stewart Craft paint but a friend said she has used cheap black craft paint and it's worked for her. definitely a time to test if you have the right craft paint for the job if you decided to go that direction.

Step one:
paint embossed foil using an H2O brush filled with alcohol ink blending solution. you can also use a small synthetic paint brush. just make sure to rinse it well in blending solution <NOT WATER> between each color. I put a drop of alcohol ink on a piece of transparency from yesterday and used that as my palette. lift the ink from there and apply to the foil.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 138px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i2VbUTaO4cM/Tt7zulZysRI/AAAAAAAACfk/Rr9pX5HHGN0/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683247761427968274" />

Step two:
using a white Krylon paint pen (or white paint and a brush) apply white paint to the desired debossed areas.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 147px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Rps8gDUrfsE/Tt7z-_Gf_tI/AAAAAAAACfw/qCtolXtCn74/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248043204280018" />

Step three: if you use the krylon style of paint pen (this is oil based paint) the paint will stay wet for a few minutes giving you time to apply clear iridescent glitter in sections as you work. sprinkle and press into the paint with your finger. it will adhere immediately. if you use craft paint you may need to apply glossy accents and then glitter.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7GAa3eef12s/Tt70GwQg0KI/AAAAAAAACf8/Qa9Sy7TmIfU/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248176658698402" />

Step four: sand top surface of the tag (if you opted to use craft paint and glossy accents you may need to wait for it to dry before sanding)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QA7pciU568M/Tt70Nzkol5I/AAAAAAAACgI/YtcCjthR2Tc/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248297807484818" />

Step five: ink a foam blending tool using walnut ink and add a bit of "dirt" to your tag. you can add some soot too if you want. I grabbed my Versa Magic Black Magic because it is an opaque black ink much like real soot. whereas the "black soot" colored Distress ink ironically, is translucent on foil. LOL

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Va67imDl_dY/Tt70U4UoveI/AAAAAAAACgU/sGZopjZhhFM/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep5.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248419341647330" />

Step six: this is where I skipped adding embossing powder over the entire thing and opted for just sealing it with a *VERY* light coat of Krylon Preserve-it!. (TIP: this is a time when you may want to test on a scrap piece of foil again! the alcohol inks got tiny spray dots in it. i loved the look. almost like when you flick water onto Distress inks. you may have different results through so test it. if you want to skip the spray you can certainly do the embossing as Tim did).

*as a side note this little can of Krylon is a great size for the craft room. it's just enough for small jobs you can sit down in your trash can or a box, and spray. it IS stinky though!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LnsyJ8VlUFM/Tt70crAkJuI/AAAAAAAACgg/N_y1a3LiHVI/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep6.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248553206752994" />

Here is a close-up of the surface of my tag.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 367px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cSS0TXdDLMs/Tt70ks12OZI/AAAAAAAACgs/fmWp4SzqFrM/s400/009.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248691137624466" />

Step seven: To finish it off as shown above, I trimmed foil tape with scallop scissors to resemble the top of a vintage ornament. I then edged the tag in it (wrapping the excess around the back) to take away the sharpness of the foil edge.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IP0kq4XqAjE/Tt70w5aU0vI/AAAAAAAAChE/uAIEk6tY9I0/s200/blog%2B6%2Bstep7.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683248900670280434" />

I found a vintage buttercup light (I say that like I *don't* have boxes and bins of misc things stashed away for these tags LOL) and wrapped it with some craft wire making a little charm for my tag. The star is a vintage metal stud I attached to an old 7 gypsies clip which is very similar to Tim's clips. ;)

* yes I had a bit of a casualty tonight. the radiator ornament was in my possession less than 24 hours before I managed to break it by dropping my camera on it. I really wanted to kick myself as it was the inspiration for the tag to begin with. (I will be saving the pieces for a xmas inspired configurations box though. I have a couple good pieces from it that will look great in there.)Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-4002973505959721152011-12-05T23:08:00.000-08:002011-12-06T01:05:04.923-08:00Tim Tags Day 5I wasn't sure how this tag would turn out for me but I am really happy with the results and plan to do more. It will make you look at packaging in a whole new light for sure. I like the idea of not tossing all that clamshell packaging into the trash. there were some great ideas shared on the InLinkz gallery (scroll down to the bottom of Tim's daily post). My favorite technique being a windowpane effect. It would be gorgeous with different colored diamonds!

I didn't have the stamp Tim used for the background and chose a combination of the script stamp from the first reflections series and the snowflake stamp used yesterday. If you are in the same pickle I would suggest going through your stamps and testing them out ahead of time as I discuss below. you might even come up with a better combination!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1JTGC2_yM-g/Tt3B5FZAFUI/AAAAAAAACeo/p4AK1nXnRGY/s200/blog5b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682911491255178562" />

When you cut out your clear tags use your scraps for a couple trial runs. While it is possible to wipe your tag clean using the blender solution, it's much easier to just use that extra alcohol ink on the felt to color a couple 1x2" pieces of scrap acetate. Try out your Archival black stamping and removal on these first. TIP: Tim mentions using a SOFT cloth. This is the time to skip the paper towels and reach for an old t-shirt! as he said blot first, just to remove the shininess of the ink. (it will still be blue/black at this point.) Next lightly buff away the remainder of the black ink. Your red alcohol ink might have a slight smear look to it but it won't show from the front side.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 229px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JMoXY4wD1RA/Tt3KOij5ExI/AAAAAAAACe0/HYHDmunfUPA/s400/blog5.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682920655955759890" />

I ended up using a glitter stock for my backing tag instead of glossy cardstock. It gives the transparency added depth and let's the snowflakes twinkle a bit. Love that! A pearl or metallic cardstock might also be nice. I added a NOEL metal block embellishment. (old Making Memories product I had long forgotten! I bet you have some in your stash too.) Under the pearls I used some vintage iridescent sequins to mimic reflectors and irridescent buffalo flake glitter to add the look of snow.
I opted for luminarte to paint the surface of my wreath diecuts. it has a beautiful heavy luster.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 313px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SzT33WJeuiU/Tt3KZYMwY2I/AAAAAAAACfA/WbdH192piL0/s400/blog5a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682920842152928098" />

I encourage you to give it a try even if this isnt your most favorite tag ( my dh deemed it his MOST favorite though :) ). The effect in person is quite beautiful and you may just find other ways to use it! How amazing would this be in black with cobwebs lifted away?!

Added: One more crazy cool tip I discovered on my own. if while hot gluing your bow in place you get the awful hot glue "threads" sticking to your transparency. you can use a small amount of blending solution on a soft cloth and they wipe right off. even the ones that you smeared in places! ;)Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-76829736025729183482011-12-04T21:09:00.000-08:002011-12-04T21:18:19.177-08:00a sneak peek at Tag #5<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2vhhCuCEMeQ/TtxUFUV4xEI/AAAAAAAACeQ/gufm2ir8iLs/s320/red-tag.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682509280171312194" />

What did I say yesterday??!! hmmmm? Do you ever wish you had Tim looking over your shoulder? Giving you pointers when you utterly fail? LOL This was that time for me! I had so many issues <inset witty joke here, I know there is one but it's 3am!>. Namely stamping with distress stains! I tried both acrylic and rubber stamps, lightly sanded them as well. neither would create a usable image. What am I doing wrong??? I ended up using white paint for the flourish and the weathered wood ink pad for the flakes instead. I didn't have tumbled glass stain so I used broken china and added a bit of water. really not a good substitute as the colors were quite dark so keep that in mind.

also if you have problems with the "wonder tape" (aka red liner tape) sticking to the tag over the distress ink, try using score tape instead. that was the only option I could find that would actually stick.

Tip: Do NOT store a pin in your glossy accents tip like has been suggested. ;) I had a *good* stainless steel pin (labeled as such even) in mine. you can see where the glossy accents ate through the finish turning my new bottle of glossy accents into a sepia-rust toned color. :( It will work to glue things down but not for this task. had to use the matte accents instead. (I should have known. I had it happen with another glue but figured I'd give it a shot since it has been mentioned a few times.)

When Tim says apply a generous amount of crackle medium, that part is important. on the left side of my snowman's chest you can see a white spot. that is where I didn't get enough crackle medium. ;) really slop it on there thick! I work fairly fast and it was still mostly dry to use in time for the next step requiring that diecut(I just hit it at the end with a heat gun to dry any super thick blobs here and there)

I'm taking bets that they next tag will be bright red or at least very colorful. 3 of the 4 have been mostly blue. (and the reason I added a pretty Luminarte painted heart to his chest)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-f7pkycCpPoY/TttNftNomZI/AAAAAAAACd4/gI3OHlwh9sM/s400/blog4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682220561966078354" />
* yeah I just noticed that pearl sticking to the side of the button. LOL I have no idea how that got on there. Kindly ignore it please. :)Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com22tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-57706351320051055792011-12-03T18:52:00.000-08:002011-12-03T20:18:11.950-08:00Tim Tags Day 3I made a lot of changes to Tim's design. Hope you enjoy them and can follow along. if you have any questions feel free to ask! sometimes I forget a change I've made.

I also got an iTouch for xmas (yes we celebrated early due to an upcoming deployment before the holidays) so I am trying out some step by step photos using it. the quality isn't as great but it should give you an idea what's going on. ;)

My Tag:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nqSqnMaZi3M/TtrsQ2Iru9I/AAAAAAAACck/GAnMRbT5MZ4/s400/blog3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682113654035299282" />

I started off with trying to find a good substitution. I had the same embossing folder but no stamp. I decided on embossing the upper part of the tag just as Tim did and then slicing open my music notes embossing folder (as Tim did on day 1 with the snowflake folder) and using that for the bottom of the tag. passing it through the sliced hole in the top of the music folder. (tip: if by chance your paper tears/cut when embossing it, just layer it onto another tag blank. it helps give tags with heavy embossing so strength anyway so I usually do this step even if I don't get any perforations from the folder.)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xVQDqEjJUw8/TtrtM6XTDSI/AAAAAAAACcw/8Dr6YA4sRRc/s200/blog3a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682114685962489122" />

Once it was embossed I needed to color the raised images. I used the foam applicator and Ranger's wood handle to layer on the Distress ink. Try doing 2-3 light applications over the area and the color will build and deepen, looking more like the stamped images.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fRoaxOn4GQ0/TtruRZA7eJI/AAAAAAAACc8/zPf5f6MMbBY/s200/blog3c.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682115862421272722" />

I have none of the Kraft-Core by Tim. So again, I used the Martha Stewart pearl paint (any paint would do though) and cut the images from Kraft cardstock. Painted the images and then sanded and inked as Tim suggested.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oV9nagq6mN8/TtrvIAjHAAI/AAAAAAAACdI/cmph8TXJ9ik/s200/blog3b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682116800746553346" />

I layered the Festive Garland items onto the tag. Mine have had some UTEE added to the holly leaves. I also choose to paint the flourishes white. added two coats of UTEE and sprinkled gold German glass glitter into the still melted UTEE. (you can hit it again with the heat gun and let the glass glitter chunks sink into the enamel.

I added some gold trim and edged the tag with my favorite Krylon 18 Kt gold leafing pen. I've found so many uses for these paint pens. I am NEVER without them.

I used a collection of sequins and rhinestones from my stash for the berries. The alcohol ink trick does work though. my friends and I have been using it for everything from Dew Drops to flower stamens for a couple years. So give it a try if you like!

the small candy cane is another item I picked up at the craft store in the miniatures dept. some white craft wire and a red sharpie would yield similar results.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4L2Jio1SmJo/Ttrv-uGO_aI/AAAAAAAACdU/wmChI6d3nFI/s400/blog3e.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682117740686409122" />

I wanted to give the letters a little more dimension and remembered a technique I started doing over the summer while trying to replicate gold foil embossed antique postcards. For this I use a Shakura Quickie Glue Pen and highlight the letters as shown in the example. Because this glue dries tacky you can take your time. once you have done a section dust with a soft gold embossing powder and shake excess off. melt enamel gently with your heat gun until it liquifies.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wPJtkcpYaqk/TtryPczFC8I/AAAAAAAACdg/hls-uiXulzE/s200/blog3f.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682120227123694530" />

when finished it should look like this:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mNu02iE1sfc/Ttrz4HVjSOI/AAAAAAAACds/SxhyRH4hQ9k/s400/blog3d.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5682122025248966882" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-2069157517556397482011-12-02T17:20:00.000-08:002011-12-02T17:52:02.327-08:00Tim Tags Day 2So what did you all think of Tim's tag today? It went quick. I felt like it needed a little something "extra". I finished this early this morning but was waiting to add some extra touches to fit my style better. I ended up being happy with the final additions.

Mine:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 218px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xPtljaKY6is/Ttl6Mjl4C3I/AAAAAAAACb0/w8SqGEvo2oQ/s400/blog2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681706761035713394" />

I accidentally got a bit of red distress ink on his nose while turning my stark white canvas into something a bit more natural. Of course that meant he needed to be a Rudolph! (Tip: rub antique linen on craft mat and then spritz it with water. lay canvas image face down to adsorb color and dry with heat gun.)

If you are wondering where the mini garlands are coming from, check out the christmas miniatures dept in your local craft or hobby store. there is all sorts of great tag embellishments there.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7yoKTutcku0/Ttl6Zm9BDRI/AAAAAAAACcA/ePyiEdu7jZQ/s400/blog2a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681706985276378386" />

I made some additions to the snow on mine. the pearl mists just weren't enough sparkle & texture for me. I used Deco Art Snow-Tex and sprinkled with a little iridescent glitter. You can see it on the top of the tag, resting on top of the bottom border, and on the wreath and Star charm. This stuff works very good over distress inks. it is thick enough that I don't have *too* many issues with the ink/stain wicking up through the medium before it dries. I've had this bottle for probably 5-6 years. when it gets a little dry I just add water to it and the consistency is perfectly new again. I only dig this out about once a year too so not a lot to maintain it's consistency.

I also used Liquid Applique in white to make little flow "flakes" falling from the sky. Another item I have had for years and stays in good usable condition year to year. You want to use teenie tiny flea sized specks of this stuff though on your tag. I discovered you really don't need to let it air dry either. you can just hit it with a heat gun immediately and get these nice little balls of snowflakes.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZRQayhHRKI8/Ttl7iK-9uTI/AAAAAAAACcM/rYYzNPFVTVw/s400/blog2c.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681708231898806578" />

Yesterday while I was cutting my banner out of old music paper I noticed a cool logo in the bottom corner and decided to save it for something. Do you do that too?? I have tons of little random bits of paper I can't part with. I think about tossing them all and starting over and then I find something like this.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Sy6NoixCiVs/Ttl-4RFQ9QI/AAAAAAAACcY/Ybn5PwgZNqo/s400/blog2b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681711910027851010" />

I think the book must have been something like approved songs for barber shop quartets from the harp and barber pole icons. it fit the North Pole & Christmas Carol theme on this tag just perfectly if I do say so. I live for little details like this! :) (I think that charm is a very old Lil' Davis pebble charm if you are wondering)Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-40979520558235184012011-12-02T16:51:00.000-08:002011-12-02T17:19:53.043-08:00Happy early Christmas to me!I love Pier 1! I used to love shopping there in the 90's and then we fell out of love for a bit. A friend of mine is always showing me her cool finds there on holiday clearance. another friend spotted this online around the same time, so I stopped in again last spring and found this chair and just had to have it for our bedroom.

then they came out with the Rhodes chest and I fell in love all over again. Until I choked on the price, and left it at my Pier 1 store. ($400!!) yikes!! I WILL figure out a way to replicate this look though!!

a few days ago I got the holiday catalog & email to find they now had a Frenchy Mannequin dress form. They must have someone working at Pier 1 that stalks me. LOL I have been wanting one for a year so I could bring out my ribbon stash from hiding in a closet in another room!

Rob and I had seen some dressforms on our favorite shows like American Pickers so he knew right away that meant he was taking a drive to pick this up. Don't feel bad for him having to run to the mall on a weeknight, through traffic, after working. ;) He came home beaming because all the ladies at Pier 1 were fawning over him for being such a sweet husband to come buy that for his wife for Xmas. I do love him so much he got a big hug the minute he came through the door with "her". She is magnificent! much taller than I was expecting for the price tag. (if you are thinking of getting one, call first! my store is a heavily trafficked location and only had ONE in stock. they had to send another lady there drooling over mine, to a different store across town.)

here's what she looks like now!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 218px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SgAfBXrZQMM/Ttl4frKVp3I/AAAAAAAACbo/JpwHFJ6n08k/s400/001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681704890461955954" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-4691854363966219052011-12-01T17:55:00.001-08:002011-12-01T18:33:55.857-08:00Let the tags begin!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4qpfgFG2Z3k/TtgyBK7B3FI/AAAAAAAACbQ/ALmHcI4GiwU/s400/blog1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5681345925621079122" />

This is the 4th year I have participated in Tim Hotlz's 12 tags of Xmas. The gray paper even had a bit of a beehive silhouette to it when I cut it out and tucked it under the ribbon.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 395px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5b9zkeqEHRw/TpfDm1HnAOI/AAAAAAAACYM/ZAuVCY_dJus/s400/Honey-Pot.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663210128303128802" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IunQpIZ0AA4/TpfDn7-A3eI/AAAAAAAACYk/0chWelfzcWI/s400/Honey-comb.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663210147321798114" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 295px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nLGLslXj0GM/TpfDnCu43cI/AAAAAAAACYY/LBAHmOFFyZI/s400/Honey-flowers.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663210131957538242" />

And what good would a layout about a honey pot from a friend without a Winnie the Pooh reference. ;)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 340px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dMKJj2LnfW8/TpfDoO5hlnI/AAAAAAAACYw/ridTZDg4BCI/s400/Honey-quote.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5663210152403244658" />

A day without a friend
is like a pot
without a single drop
of honey left inside.
- Winnie the PoohHeidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-46671329411478715132011-10-11T22:52:00.000-07:002011-10-11T23:33:57.601-07:00Flea Market FindsDo you ever come across a frame second hand, realize it's a fabulous frame, but not know what to do with it? Well I have to confess I have a stash of frames like this. I just can't pass up a good quality vintage frame! It's a weakness! :)

A lot of times the sizing can be a bit unusual though. I recently had the opportunity to try out a canvas company. Easy Canvas Prints will turn your photos to canvas. they have a very easy to use interface. Uploading is a breeze, no need to resize anything. AND custom sizes are available! (I didn't notice a price jump for this service. It seemed to be based only on the square inches. YEAH!) I was really happy to realize that all those odd sized frames can now have reasonably priced canvases I can swap out for the seasons.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 355px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Cza6-nWB_WI/TpUysDlMVeI/AAAAAAAACXo/1A9yZxGvUl8/s400/canvas.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662487838945203682" />

One of the things I thought was kind of cool about these, they put the date, order number and size of the canvas on the back. I'm guessing so you can reorder maybe? Comes in handy for keeping track of when the photos were taken though. Check it out.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S6M7gL0JVu4/TpU0uQrXGZI/AAAAAAAACYA/s91n-hCm6Fk/s200/canvas-back.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5662490075843729810" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-91161852551366218312011-08-16T01:21:00.002-07:002011-08-23T22:35:32.811-07:00Victoria Gardens meets the Washington Coast

My husband and I recently got back from a well deserved trip to the Washington coast. It was so beautiful out there. We spent most afternoons on the beach looking for treasures. The last time we went was on our anniversary about 14 years ago. It had changed so much. Cute little shops had popped up like this one (where the old post office had once been).

We spent a few afternoons at this little pastry and deli called Emily's Confections in Pacific Beach. I think everyday there was something new I was amazed that the owner had made from scratch. Fudge of every flavor, all kinds of ooey gooey pastry, cinnamon rolls the size of your FACE! I got to *taste* mine LOL! (so yeah my hubby ate BOTH of them in our take-away box!) I think it was the last day we ate lunch there one of the owners was calling someone to pick up pickles for the shop. She got off the phone and joked to me that she was sorry but they *didn't* make their own pickles! That's OK because I swear I dream about her homemade Panini bread!

When I got home this lovely Victoria Gardens collection created by my friend Cassandra Cooper for Echo Park, was waiting for me. (How can one refuse working with such beautiful papers?!) I knew I definitely had to scrapbook this lovely little cottage on the coast.

Hope you enjoy these pretty papers as much as I did! You can purchase both the 12x12 and the 6x6 paper collection HERE. Make sure you get an extra sheet of that wonderful journal card paper! I think I will be hunting some down to stash away. They are great versatile elements for your pages and the paper on the back side of it is my favorite print from the collection (well of the pink ones anyway LOL)

Yesterday brought snow, rain, sun, and hail and snow again. So I was inspired to get one of these pages done of the first snowfall this winter. Hopefully the last snowflakes I see for a while.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WuBAjAgaTi0/TZ5gIBA0IxI/AAAAAAAACQQ/CI04rbC_V0U/s400/%252356-12x12-SketchSavvy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5593013478067806994" />

I started off with a sketch from my friend Susan at Sketch Savvy. I love her sketches but I really don't feel like I did this one justice. And you can blame THAT on my husband. He psyched me out by teasing that it had been so long that I had probably forgotten HOW to scrapbook. :P grumble grumble grumble (from me) and then poof it happened. He really should learn to not speak such things when his wife is trying to enjoy herself. Guess who is making dinner tonight? NOT ME! LOL

*edit-these are post fix shots. I added the bling swirls and mica snow. STILL forgot to add one of the Maya crystal star pins behind the date frame. oh well! I'm going to scrap another page to get rid of that bad juju! It matched my scrapbook room perfectly so I knew what I needed to create with it. ;)

If you have a little chandelier it is so easy to swap out these clip on shades for holidays or seasons. I found my shade bases at Lowe's for under $5 each. you can easily make your own template by laying the lampshade on a large piece of kraft paper (like a paper grocery bag). start with the seam down and mark the edges of the shade on the paper as you roll the shade across the paper (it will make a big arc). cut out the template leaving 1/4" on each side to allow for enough paper to fold under the shade and hide the edges of the paper. don't worry if it is not perfect. ;) you can always cover it with ribbon or ruffles and hide all of your hot glue mistakes! Decorate with bows, sticker elements or flowers.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 304px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YkKrAbkiyPk/TWShUKDfNsI/AAAAAAAACOk/KVN_DhXGjzk/s400/lamp%2Bshade%2Bcloseup.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576759606259955394" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 318px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qjll-gtuRF8/TWShQiu8uQI/AAAAAAAACOc/Wz22RKNn800/s400/lamp%2Bshades.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576759544165218562" />

In the example above I used Echo Park's Be Mine collection.

Try using a collection like Summer Days for a birthday party!

Or Springtime for Easter.

Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-45596830590584436272011-02-20T18:55:00.000-08:002011-02-20T19:23:39.252-08:00An Anniversary BoxIn case you are like me and procrastinated on using your Echo Park Be Mine collection because you wanted to find something *perfect* to make...no problem! It makes some really great anniversary and wedding themed projects! ;) I pulled a few of the black & white papers from this collection (and they are YUMMY aren't they?) along with a few of the pretty pink prints for some rose buds. This collection is so eclectic I can see using it for many themes beyond Valentine's Day. (which is a good think because the cold and flu season this year has been hitting our house along with everyone else we know! so much for the old flu shot :P )

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 345px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JqF0kTBVio8/TWHaQDLXLMI/AAAAAAAACOU/4v4-Zq3K4uw/s400/Anniversary%2Bbox.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575977782927109314" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DqBhdN2IxWk/TWHYTABbnDI/AAAAAAAACOM/KoUGmh1fGMc/s400/forever.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575975634596502578" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 325px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UVVLSmHzuQo/TWHYOZ0dGHI/AAAAAAAACOE/-_k9cDJS8Tw/s400/19th.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575975555622049906" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 394px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-I0BXgc9ewKw/TWHYECJyyEI/AAAAAAAACN8/_FDSHY_0VTI/s400/sparrow.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575975377470408770" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lncTVeKjMTE/TWHX-2HyjmI/AAAAAAAACN0/Vj-0YdLvpag/s400/key.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575975288341433954" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kq4ERH5Qq7k/TWHX4LmtfjI/AAAAAAAACNs/Vum5lSDmAYI/s400/roses.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5575975173849185842" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-59485950785529064752010-12-19T20:36:00.001-08:002010-12-19T20:37:20.289-08:00Merry Christmas!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OdbcDyjqB7M/TQ7ddeDxbmI/AAAAAAAACMU/eanKM82I8vc/s400/Christmas%2BTree%2B2010.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552618888949231202" />Heidi Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05831071035827342043noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8449218334526760261.post-43818766133664799272010-12-14T12:23:00.000-08:002010-12-14T12:41:36.462-08:00Holiday Shadowbox ClassMy friend Cassandra Cooper is offering a digital download for this class and will be having live instruction on Dec 18th. Check it out!

I got a sneak peek of the class recently and just knew I had to put one together with all my vintage Christmas goodies!
